In his capacity as Managing Editor of Ammonite Press, an imprint of AE Publications Ltd, Richard has, since 2009 headed a team of writers, designers and editors responsible for the production of more than 50 books on social history topics covering fascinating aspects of life in Britain over the last 150 years, working in partnership with major photographic archives such as The Press Association, Mirrorpix and The Royal Geographical Society.

Ammonite also publishes books on photography, including the acclaimed Expanded Guides series of camera guides for amateur and professional photographers.
